Lloyd "Joe" Kerr

Suddenly, yet peacefully, Joe passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2012, with his beloved wife Val by his side, at the Welland County General Hospital in his 75th year. Devoted husband and best friend to the Reverend Val Kerr. Father of Debbie (Brian) Rivette and Terry (Laury). Loving Dad of Dale (Sonya) Richardson and David (Sue) Richardson. Proud Poppa of Carrie, MacKenzie, Marlie, Megan (Jason), Tori, Kyle, Greg, Jessica, and Eric. Great-Poppa of Abby, Zoe and Drake. Dear son in law of Jennie Gregg. Survived by his sister Audrey (Steve) Blanchard and several nieces and nephews. Joe was employed for many years as a Marine Engineer aboard the Great Lakes ships prior to his retirement. He will always be remembered for his kindness and generosity.

Family and friends will be received on Monday, January 30, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at St. George’s Anglican Church, 83 Church St. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at St. George’s Anglican Church at 11 a.m. Cremation will follow. If desired, memorial donations made to St. George’s Anglican Church or Bethlehem Housing and Support Services would be appreciated by the family.
