It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Lonney Lloyd Osland on Wednesday June 24th 2015 in his 66th year. Lonney was born in Port Hope, Ontario in 1949. Beloved husband of Marlene for 39 years. Cherished father of Alicia. Predeceased by his parents Lena and Lloyd Osland and brother Randy.
He will be sadly missed by his sisters, Marilyn Curson (Jim), Cheryl Madge-Yerrow (Bob), Linda Donnelly (Willie), Wendy Morton (Greg), Marlene Campbell (Doug) and Brother Darrell Osland (Cindy), Brother in law to David Henderson (Laurie), Carol Dupuis (Rick) and Dale Henderson. Uncle to 23 nieces and nephews. Lonney was a retiree from General Motors of Canada where he was employed for over 25 years. He was an avid hockey player and loved the game of golf.
In keeping with Lonney's wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to HULSE & ENGLISH FUENERAL HOME. On-line tributes may be made at www.hulsandenglish.com. A private family gathering will take place at a later date. If inclined, donations to the Salvation Army would be appreciated by the family.
