Surrounded by his loving family, Louie peacefully passed away and was greeted into the loving arms of Jesus. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Jenny, and his four daughters, Valerie (Scott), Sharon (Sean), Teressa (Gordon), and Jennifer (Kevin). He was a wonderful “Grandpa Lou” to eight precious grandchildren, Josiah, Anya, Kate, Finley, Judah, Levi, Esra, and Sarah. Louie was born and raised in St. Catharines and lived a life full of love, faith and service. His working career in construction was one of his passions, where he eventually ran his own business, Woodland Homes. After thirty years in construction, he combined his love of houses with his love of people and became a real estate agent, working for both Coldwell Banker and Royal LePage. Throughout his life, Louie gave his time freely to his church and the community.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 26 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm and 7:00 – 9:00 pm and the funeral will be held on Thursday, October 27 at 11:00 am, both at Bethany Community Church at 1388 Third Street Louth in St. Catharines.
