Gollert, Malcolm Macleod. Peacefully at Hospice Niagara on January 4, 2023 in his 90th year. Loving husband of 55 years to Libby. Father to Ian (Christine), Jennifer (Patrick) and proud Papa to Davis, Molly and Finn.
One of 9 children to Flora Macleod of Aberdeen, Scotland and Cyril Gollert of London, England, Mac was born in Montreal. Following university at Sir George Williams (Concordia) Mac moved to Owen Sound to open an RCA distributorship store, where he sold many their first Beatles album and met his Australian bride Libby. A second career in finance took Mac and his family to a new life in St. Catharines. Mac was a proud member of Rotary, The North Star Lodge and Probus. A memorial service is to be held in the spring.
