Marjorie G. Hill

Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at the Niagara Health System – St. Catharines Site on Sunday, May 19, 2013 following a short illness at the age of 89 years. Beloved wife of the late Peter B. Hill. Loving mother of Derek Hill and his wife Mary Ann, and Susan and her husband Geoff Loucks, and mother-in-law of Gail Hill. Special granny of Rohan Hill, Jamie Loucks and his wife Lisa, Ryan Loucks, & Kim and her husband Andre Halston. Fondly missed by her sister Ginny Smith. Predeceased by her sister June Wisby, and by her brother Harold “Hap” Hanright.

Marjorie was an avid skier, golfer, and curler, she was a longtime member of the St. Catharines Golf & Country Club. She devoted much time and passion to volunteering with the May Court Club, St. Catharines General Hospital and Canadian Cancer Society, and supported many charitable organizations providing assistance to children of third world nations.

In accordance with Marjorie’s wishes, cremation will take place and a private family memorial service and burial at Victoria Lawn Cemetery will take place at a later date.
