Mark Postma

Postma, Mark - Mark died unexpectedly as a result of a heart attack on Monday, December 19, 2016. He was the loving husband of Sena, and devoted father of Rich and Terry and his wife Katrina. He will also be missed by Katrina’s children T.J Patterson and Tonia Patterson and her partner Jackie Skul.

He is lovingly remembered by his siblings the late Margaret and Andy Hoekstra, Irene and the late Bernie Veldboom, Gre and Dick Kloostra, Fred and Alice Postma, John and Pauline Postma, Andy and Jenny Postma, Henk and his fiancé Susie Hoekstra, Rick and Marlene Postma, Mike Postma and the late Dickie Postma. He was a much loved member of the Verbeek family and will be missed by Sena’s siblings; Bill, Jake, Shorty, Cor, Mike, Betty, Tinie and the late Ed and their families.

Mark was a very talented finish carpenter and was passionate about working on boats at Neptunis Yachts. He loved his weekly golf games with his sons and they golfed year round! He was an avid, long time bowler at Fairview Lanes. He enjoyed his daily coffee with his buddies at Tim Hortons.

The family will receive friends at the Hulse & English Funeral Home & Chapel, 75 Church Street (905-684-6346) on Wednesday December 21, 2916 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm and on Thursday, December 22nd from 12pm -1pm. A Celebration of Mark’s life will be held in the chapel at 1:00pm . Cremation to follow. Those wishing to may make a memorial donation to the Canadian Cancer Society.
