Mary Boucher

Born October 30th 1931 and passed gently May 17th 2023 at 91 years old.

Mary is pre deceased by her loving husband Ronald Boucher of over 50 years of marriage. Survived by her loving son Steven Boucher and her extremely loving adopted daughter Vanessa Torres (Israel, who she thought the world of) and their children Brenon and Arianna. Her amazing sister who helped support her over the years, Yvonne Dalton (the great late Dave), their daughter Michelle (Kent) White and their children Natalie and Nicolas. Sister to the best brother, the late, Jack and Joan Carr, Dear Aunt to Cathy (the late Brian Franklin) and Christopher Carr, The greatest great aunt to Megan Angelone (Greg) and Erin Franklin. Great, great Aunt to Matthew Angelone. Aunt to the late Remi Boucher (wife Colleen and children Lisa and Tracey) and Diane Rodrigue (Paul and the kids, Cindy and Paul)

Nanny was a beautiful beacon of light, who always helped the broken and homeless. She was extremely proud of her British heritage, exemplified by her nickname at the nursing home “The Queen”. She was a supporter of the International Fund for Animal Welfare for well over 20 years. She always had many children that she sponsored from World Vision. She was the kindest, most empathetic person anyone would meet in the world. She always loved hearing “Hi Nanny!” when she was out and about while shopping. Her light is irreplaceable but I will try my best to teach my children what I learned from her so they can make their difference to the world as she did. It only takes one person to change the world, she was proof of that and her legacy will live on.
