"Ted" John Edwin Roberts

After a long and very happy life we are joyful that Uncle Ted has been reunited with his beloved Louie in Heaven. It is with sorrow our family announces Ted’s passing on Thursday, December 11, 2014 at the age of 92. Dearly beloved husband and best friend for 60 years of the late Louie. Much loved brother of Violet Taylor of Northern Ireland. Dearest brother in law of Doreen McCullough. Loved and cherished uncle of Margaret, Anne, Louie, Johnny, Jim, Al, Jim, Trevor, Hilary, Edwin, the late Cindy, and their families. Adored and forever special Papa. He will be missed by his constant companion wee Lagan, many friends and extended family.

A heartfelt thank you to Pastor Scott Beamer for his comfort and prayers, the nursing staff in the St. Catharines Dialysis Unit for their dedication and devotion, the incredible staff on 3A, and a special thank you to Dr. Edmon Minkarious for his years of caring and friendship.

Friends will be received on Saturday, December 13, 2014 from 7 – 9 p.m. and Sunday, December 14, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the HULSE & ENGLISH FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 75 Church St. (905-684-6346). A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, December 15, 2014 at 11:30 a.m. at the Niagara Church of the Nazarene, 136 Confederation Dr. Thorold. Cremation to follow with interment at a later date at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Church of Nazarene, Thorold or the Lincoln County Humane Society.
