Passed away peacefully in his sleep at the GNGH on February 28, 2012 in his 89th year. Devoted husband to the late Margaret (1993). Much loved Father to Dianne (Ed) and the late Tom (2003) and Jim (2008). Loving Grandfather to Charity (Dan), Amber (Kevin), Josh (Shannon), Becky (Scott), Glenn, Derek, Bernadette (Chris) and Katie (Ryan). Tom was also a loving grandfather to several Great-Grandchildren. Brother to Bill and the late Harry, Stan, Joe, George and sister Maud. A special thank you to his PSW Lyndsay, with whom he developed a special bond over the past year.
A Graveside service will be held on Saturday March 10, 2012 at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens in Fonthill at 11 a.m. Followed by a celebration of Tom’s life at the Merritton Legion, 2 Chestnut St from 1-5. If so desired, memorial donations may be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
