SCHLAPKOHL, Walther – passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, July 14, 2012 in his 92nd year with his family by his side, dear wife, Hildegard, daughter Andrea and her husband Otto and granddaughter, Tara. Walther is survived by his son, Cay (Monica), his brother Hans Juergen (Edith), grandchildren; Steffi and Bianca and his great-grandchildren; Chantal and Michelle in Hamburg, Germany, his sister Annemarie and niece Margaret in Australia and also his grandchildren Blue Jay, Rachel and Blake.
The family will receive friends at HULSE AND ENGLISH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 75 Church Street (905-684-6346) for memorial visitation from 12:00 noon – 1:00 pm on Friday, July 20, 2012 followed by a Service in the Chapel. A reception will be held at Walther and Hildegard’s home following the service.
