Wesney W. Preddie

Passed away on Monday, April 25, 2011 after a courageous battle, with his family by his side, in St. Catharines. Beloved husband and best friend for 40 years of Gloria Adina. Best friend and father of Arlene. Cherished brother of Burnett (Pauline), Carley (Dorothy), Dorothea (Albert) Johnson, Valerie Bird, Amocetia Beckford, Ludell (Patrick) Black, and Lacena Upong. Predeceased by his parents James and Iris Preddie. He will be lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Wesney was a dedicated and active member of Seventh Day Adventist Church, he worked for 30 years at Ford Smith in Stoney Creek, and finally finishing his career at Walker Magnetic.

Family and friends will be received on Sunday, May 1, 2011 at Seventh Day Adventist Church, 302 Scott St. St. Catharines (905-688-1301) from 12 – 2 p.m. with a Funeral Service to follow immediately at 2 p.m. Interment will take place on Monday, May 2, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Victoria Lawn Cemetery (meet at funeral home for 10:30 a.m.).
