Andrew Neal Westermeyer

Westermeyer, Andrew Neal went home to be with the Lord on Fri., April 3, 2015, at the age of 71. A devoted husband of Paula R. Westermeyer (nee Tiffany) for 46 years, Neal is remembered as a loving father of Andrew Christopher Westermeyer and Susan Tiffany Jones (nee Westermeyer); grandfather of Katharine Tiffany and Andrew Paul Jones, all residing in Arizona, and dear brother of John H. (Susan) and Philip Y. (Dee Dee) Westermeyer and Mary T. (Robert) Beck (nee Westermeyer), all residing in St. Louis, Mo. Neal is preceded in death by his father Andrew N. Westermeyer and mother Ruth Belle Edwards (nee Hewitt).

An award-winning marketing executive and chief operating officer for more than 30 years, Neal's career spanned the industries of food products, healthcare and high technology. He held positions as director of marketing for Ralston Purina Company, vice president of marketing for Nabisco Brands, Inc., vice president of marketing for Humana, Inc. and executive vice president and chief operating officer for National Health Enhancement Systems. In recent years, Neal assisted several start-up companies to successfully obtain funding. While working for Humana in Louisville, Ky., he served on the Kentucky Derby Festival board for several years and was appointed a Kentucky Colonel.

An MBA graduate from Washington University in St. Louis, Neal served since 2012 as the Alumni and Development Chair for the University's Phoenix Regional Cabinet.

Visitation Sat., April 11, 1011 a.m. followed by a service at HOFFMEISTER COLONIAL Mortuary, 6464 Chippewa, St. Louis, MO 63109.
