Betty Lou Sasseen (nee Partee) Baptized into the hope of Christ’s resurrection on July 1, 2018. Beloved wife of the late Hallard Lee Sasseen Jr. Loving mother of Brett (Gigi) and Scott. Proud Nana of Nina, Roya, Ava, Sarah and Noah. Dear sister of Larry and sister-in-law of Virginia. Dearest aunt of Judy, Gina, Roy, Connie, Gail, Vicky, Brenda, Jenny, Cheryl, Darryl, Tammy and Tim. Dear cousin and friend of many.
Betty had a great passion for her faith, dancing and music. She particularly enjoyed big band music. Much of her time was spent with family, especially her grandchildren. She loved going on walks with them, trips to the zoo and reading with them. She was a talented baker and her coffee cake was a highly sought after commodity. One of Betty’s pleasures in live was enjoying some good company and a glass of wine. She was a person that many people were naturally drawn to and her sassy personality was one of her most admired traits.
The family will receive friends at Mary Mother of the Church on Thursday, July 5, 2018 from 10a.m. until the time of Mass at 11a.m. The interment will follow in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
