Carl John Kraus passed away peacefully on Tues. Nov. 1, 2016 at the age of 58. Beloved son of Ruth Ellen Kraus (nee Roth) and the late John “Jack” Kraus. Carl is survived by his siblings Joan Oatis of St. Louis, MO, Christopher Kraus of Steamboat Springs, CO, Gerard “Jerry” Kraus of St. Louis, MO, and Linnea (Rob) Meiser of House Springs, MO. He is also survived by his step siblings John Fozzy of St. Louis, MO, James (Lynn) Fozzy of St. Louis, MO and Carol Smith of Catawissa, MO. Carl leaves many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousin and friends.
Carl worked as a Quality Control Specialist for Lumbee Enterprise. He loved the outdoors, fishing, canoeing and camping.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
