

DeAndre was born on Friday, September 13, 1974, in Saint Louis, Missouri, to his Mother Deborah Ann (Johnson) Bledsoe and Father Norah Lee Ell. DeAndre was a proud son who carried the spirit of his city and family with him wherever he went.
DeAndre received his education in Wellston, University City and Saint Louis Public School system.
On September 24, 2014, DeAndre married the love of his life, Monica Nicole (Bennett) Bledsoe, in a courthouse ceremony that marked the beginning of their cherished union. Their bond was one of love, laughter, adventure, and unwavering support.
Deandre held a meaningful career at Quikcrete Midwest Block and Brick. DeAndre began working with Quikcrete in 2017 and for the last three years, he served as the Tumbler Supervisor—a role he took great pride in. DeAndre often spoke fondly of his crew and the camaraderie they shared. When asked about his day, he would always respond with a smile and say, “It was good—I don’t have bad days.”
DeAndre was a devoted father to Bry’tani Renae Williams, DeAndre Lamont Bledsoe Jr., Breanne Marie Bennett, KeAndre Lamar Bledsoe, and Lauren Nicole Bennett. A loving Grandfather to Paidyn D. Bledsoe, Caleb J. Coleman and DeAndre Lamont Bledsoe, III. He found immense joy in supporting his children’s and grandchildren’s endeavors, especially when it meant traveling to watch them play sports or simply spending quality time together.
He is also lovingly remembered by; brothers Noah L. Ell, Darrell Glover (Tiwuana), Brother-in-law Kevin M. Bennett; sisters Tasha Henderson and Michelle Jones; God Mother Christine Rodgers and a wide circle of extended family including numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who held him near and dear.
DeAndre was preceded in death by his sister Angela Marie “Woonie” Bledsoe; sister Mavia “May-May” Glover; brother Eric Tyrone “Bey” Glover; and Grandmother Mary E. Bledsoe.
Known for his infectious humor and magnetic personality, DeAndre had an uncanny ability to light up any room he entered. Whether he was cracking jokes or dancing to his favorite music with a drink in hand among loved ones, he brought joy wherever he went. He loved playing spades and dominoes with family and could often be found shooting darts or playing pool with competitive flair at a neighborhood bar.
A thrill-seeker at heart, DeAndre embraced life with boldness and enthusiasm. For his milestone 50th birthday this past year, he went skydiving—a testament to his adventurous spirit. He enjoyed visiting amusement parks and never hesitated to share whether a ride was worth the wait. On a recent trip to Sea World, one phrase echoed from him again and again: “I’m doing it.”
DeAndre loved life, he most recently expressed interest in returning to one of his earlier passions: skating. He also enjoyed spending time in the garage whether he was working on his ‘65 Malibu or doing an oil change for one of his kids.
His presence will be profoundly missed by all who knew him—his smile that could brighten any day and his signature farewell: “Alright see you later… Lil Shoe.”
May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him and may the echoes of his laughter live on in every heart he touched.
