SOTIRA ,Dhimitra, 102, a homemaker, of Las Vegas, passed away Sunday, Sept. 4, 2011. She was born May 4, 1909, in Albania, and was a 22-year resident of Nevada. Dhimitra was a member of St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church and of Senior Forerunners and Ladies Philoptochos. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nicholas Sotira; and daughters, Helen Katre and Antoinette Wadlow. Dhimitra is survived by her daughter, Dora Jorgovan; son, George Sotira; son-in-law, Bishop Ilia Katre; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. on Monday, September 12, 2011 at HOFFMEISTER COLONIAL MORTUARY, 6464 Chippewa at Watson. Interment to follow at St. Matthew’s Cemetery.
