Edward Charles Pikoraitis

Beloved husband of Clara R. (nee Jacobi); loving father of Susan C. (Donald) Smedley and Dale E. (Julie) Pikoraitis; dear grandfather of Taryn, Katie, Jenny, and Thomas; great grandfather of Nicholas, Nathan, Grace, and Evelyn Margaret; dear brother of the late Elinore Weiler, Frank Pikoraitis, and Charles Pikoraitis; dear uncle, cousin, brother-in-law, and friend to many.

As a Security Officer, (Retired) from Hudson Security, he served people at many locations, including St. Louis Retirement Center in St. Louis, Missouri, and KSDK-TV where he met a host of celebrities and enjoyed the friendship of many. He always made people feel at ease, and had a contagious smile. He loved watching TV, the baseball Cardinals and fishing, especially in Willmore Park. He touched so many lives and his absence will leave a great void for those of us who remain. Yet, his love and gentle spirit lives on in our hearts forever.

SERVICES: Visitation Monday, April 23, 2012 from 10:00am until time of service at 11:30am at HOFFMEISTER COLONIAL MORTUARY 6464 Chippewa at Watson. Interment Concordia Cemetery. If desired, contributions may be made to Holy Cross Lutheran Church 2650 Miami, St. Louis, MO 63118.
