Ellen was the beloved wife of the late Ambrose Gianella; loving mother of James (Laurie) Gianella and Ronald Gianella; cherished grandmother Amanda (Peter) Allen, Michelle (Andy) Ford, and Valerie (Wayne) Ford; devoted great-grandmother of Andrew, James, Robin, Collin, Dominic, and Lana; dear aunt, great-aunt and a friend to many in her lifetime.
Ellen was preceded in death by her sisters, Doris (John) Adamission and Betty (Richard) Kreal, and her brother William Scobie.
Visitation will be Wednesday, August 27 from 4-8pm at Hoffmeister Colonial Mortuary, 6464 Chippewa 63109. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, August 28 at 10am at Saint Lucy Parish on the Church of the Magdalen Campus, 4924 Bancroft at South Kingshighway 63109. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
