Gary Lee Schwartz Sr.

​Gary was the beloved husband of Lisa Schwartz and a loving father to four children: Gary Schwartz Jr, Jessica Schwartz, Shaunda Murphy, and Daniel Murphy. He found immense joy in his role as grandfather to Keegan Whitworth and JohnyRebel Whitworth. His family was the center of his world, and his love for them was unwavering.

​He is survived by his brother, Steve Schwartz.

​Gary was preceded in death by his parents, David Lee Schwartz and Leona Martha (Craig) Schwartz, and his brother, David Lee Schwartz Jr.

​A true outdoorsman, Gary loved spending his time fishing and hunting. He also enjoyed camping with his family and had a unique passion for collecting arrowheads. These simple pleasures brought him great peace and defined his favorite pastimes.

​Gary will be deeply and truly missed by all who knew him. His gentle spirit and enduring love will live on in the hearts of his family forever.

A Memorial Visitation will take place on Saturday, December 20, 2025, from 2-4pm at Hoffmeister Colonial Mortuary, 6464 Chippewa Street, Saint Louis 63109. The Memorial Service will begin at 4pm.
