Many people at St. James the Greater Parish will miss Helen. She participated in many Parish programs and activities. She regularly helped at various Parish fund raisers. We will all miss her pleasant disposition and her smile. May she be at peace in the presence of God reunited with her husband and all her loved ones who have gone before her. As a teen in Jennings, the wonderful lady that lived across the street was always there to listen to troubles and joys of my day.  As a new bride we once again became neighbors when she spotted an apartment for rent close to her.  I had a fondness for her that was more than that of a neighbor.  I have often thought fondly of her and wish I had been more of a friend throughout the years.  Now she is influencing me to stretch myself to find people like her from my past and be more like her in the future.  She was a very special person.

Wish I could be there with you all. You are all in my thoughts and Prayers. Dear Aunt Helen is greatly missed. I remember such special moments at her home. Her smile will forever be etched in my memory.

It has come a time that we all sorrow, but yet we should rejoice to and for our special Aunt Helen and friend.  In many ways  she was very special to everyone through out her lifetime!  The love she had was inspirational that brought the beauty of her heart to us all!  Aunt Helen was always celebrating with her  family and friends that embraced an elegance to life.  Aunt Helen wore many hats for many, many people and wow...she sure did love her HATS!  There were hats for all different types of occasions!  

I love Aunt Helen from the bottom of my heart for the wonderful and special lady she is.  She had a loving, caring, and trusting heart!  You could not help, but smile with her, laugh, have fun, and enjoy her beautiful smile with her bright beautiful blue eyes!   Aunt Helen has paved the way through this life bringing her to be a BELOVED ANGELl!  God Bless Aunt Helen, you will be dearly missed, but NEVER FORGOTTEN!  WE LOVE YOU!!!!
