Irene E. Mazzola

Mazzola, Irene E (nee Moakley), Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on July 2, 2023, age 97. Beloved wife of the late Peter J Mazzola; loving mother and mother-in-law of Janet (Gary) Barmeier, Joan (Mike) Price, the late Terri Mazzola; Mary (Don) Neff and Joseph Mazzola. Irene was the loving grandma to six grandchildren Andy Price, Chris (Sara) Price, Tim (Alison) Neff, Katie (Eric) Bolin, Samantha (Preston) Plambeck, and Elizabeth Barmeier. She loved visiting with her eight great-grandchildren Jack, Grace Irene (on the way), Wilson, Sullivan, Tristan, Adalyn, Autumn, Mia, and Tyler. Preceded in death by her parents Vincent and Emma (nee Hoeffner) Moakley, sister Lois (Vince) Frederick Boland, brother Richard Moakley, in-laws Angela Mazzola, Nicholas (Rosemary) and Vince (Vivian) Mazzola. Our dear aunt, great aunt, cousin and friend.

SERVICES: Visitation 9am until time of Mass at 10am on Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, 4924 Bancroft Ave., St. Louis, MO 63109. Interment to follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
