Bannon, James passed away on December 3, 2012. Son of the late Thomas and the late Virginia (nee Hodge) Bannon. Brother of Patty (Bob) Herbolsheimer. Cousin of Dr. Jay King. Dear uncle and friend.
James worked for the St. Louis City Sherriff’s Department and then retired after 24 years of service.
Visitation: Thursday, December 6, 2012 4-8 pm at Hoffmeister Colonial Mortuary, 6464 Chippewa at Watson. The service will be conducted in the funeral home chapel on Friday, December 7, at 10 am. The interment will follow in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the St. Louis Humane Society are preferred.
