John Patrick “Jack” Brett passed away on Monday, September 23, 2019 at the age of 97. Beloved husband of the late Margaret Helen “Peggy” Brett (nee Ray); dear father of Mark Brett, WA, twins, James (Bo) Brett, FL and John Brett, NM, Robert (Lori) Brett, CA, Kathleen Brett, MO and Susan (Thomas) Sapienza, MO; loving grandfather of Cheryl & Patrick Brett, Breanne and Brennan Brett, and Victoria, Matthew & Gabrielle Sapienza; brother, uncle and friend to many.
A mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Friday, October 4, at St. Pauls Roman Catholic Church in Kenmore, NY. A visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Dengler Roberts & Perna Funeral Home in Kenmore, NY. Burial will in in Elm Lawn Cemetery in Kenmore, NY.
1949 Graduate of Canisius College with a BA in Business and WWII Army Veteran.
