

Lois was preceded in death by her loving parents, and her siblings Elaine Leopold (Richard), Walter Grossenheider (Dorothy), and Robert Grossenheider (June).
She is survived by her devoted husband, The Honorable Edward M. Peek, with whom she shared 58 wonderful years of marriage after being united on February 25, 1967. Lois was a cherished mother to Debora Missini (Dennis), Edward B. Peek (Tammy), Daniel W. Peek, and Diane C. Bracken (Mark). She also leaves behind 8 beloved grandchildren, 10 precious great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will forever hold her memory close.
Lois was deeply proud of her faith and found great joy in serving the Lord. She was a longtime member of Ascension Lutheran Church, where she enjoyed Bible study, alter guild, and participating in the life of her church community. Known for her warm heart and welcoming spirit, she treasured time spent with friends and family.
Lois was also a wonderful cook who delighted loved ones with her famous pot roast and potatoes, as well as her treasured rum cakes—recipes that will be remembered and enjoyed for generations.
Lois leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and kindness. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her spirit will continue to shine through all those who were blessed to know her.
A Visitation will be held at EverTrue Laclede Groves, located at 723 S Laclede Station Rd, St. Louis, MO 63119, in the Chapel, on November 19, 2025, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. A Memorial Service will follow at the same location, starting at 1:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Dementia Society of America.
