Mark E. Manson

Mark was the loving husband of Christine "Tina" Manson; cherished father of Mark E. (Tricia) Manson, Jr. and his "sweetpea" Kasey L. Manson; devoted grandfather of Isabella "Belle" Manson; dear brother of Steven Manson, Leslie Eaton, Shawn Bailey, Julie (Mark) Sutter, James (Iris) Manson, and the late Christy (the late Ronald) Schoenberger; treasured nephew of Rich (Gloria) Roseman; dear uncle and great-uncle, cousin, and a friend to so many it is impossible to count.

Mark had many talents but he was most proud of his 26 years as Hazelwood Firefighter/EMT. When he wasn't saving lives, he was either riding his Harley, fishing at Montauk, or pranking his next victim. He loved simply sitting with a cup of coffee and watching the sunrise.

Mark was funny, generous, selfless, kind, caring, and a man of many talents. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

A Memorial visitation will be Friday, October 11 from 9am until noon at Hoffmeister Colonial Mortuary, 6464 chippewa Street 63109. The Memorial Service will commence at noon in the Chapel at Hoffmeister. We will process to Resurrection Cemetery immediately following the service for a Rite of Committal and ceremony to honor his years as a dedicated public servant.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mark's memory to the BackStoppers would be greatly appreciated by his family.
