Robert W. Kohring

Beloved husband of the late Loretta J. Kohring (nee Valli); dear father of Ronald (Peggy) Kohring, Gerald Kohring, Sr., Christine (John) Woolbright and Linda (Harold) Beyer; dear grandfather of 9, Patrick, David, Katherine, Brian, Diane, Gerald Jr., Jennifer, Steven and Megan; dear great-grandfather of 9, Johnathan, Justin, Andrew, Luc, Flora, Addison, Briley, Regan and Grayson; dear brother of Henry A. (Dorothy) Kohring, Frank C. (Janet) Kohring and the late Matilda D. Kohring; dear brother-in-law of Raymond (Elda) Valli and the late Harry Valli; dear uncle, great-uncle, cousin, friend and special friend to Carol Kohring, Kevin Stevens and Shirley Kohring.

Robert was a machinist with John Ramming Machine Company for over 45 years. He served as a union steward and was part of the union negotiation committee. He excelled through management working as a foreman, superintendent and retiring as vice president.

The funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of Hoffmeister Colonial Mortuary, 6464 Chippewa at Watson on Thurs., June 28, 2012 at 10:00 AM. Entombment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in Robert’s memory may be made to de Greeff Hospice House and charity of choice. Visitation will be held at Hoffmeister Colonial Mortuary on Wed. from 3-9 PM.
