Susan was preceded in death by her parents, William Benofy and Therese Benofy (née Bezenhofer), and her beloved brothers, Thomas Benofy and Andrew Benofy.
She is survived by her brother, Leslie Benofy (Susan), with whom she shared a close and devoted bond.
A hardworking woman throughout her life, Susan spent many years in retail, where she was known for her reliability and dedication. She worked at Bullocks, Macy’s, and Joann’s Crafts and Fabrics, taking pride in her work and the relationships she built along the way.
Though Susan never had children of her own, she had a deep love for children. Each holiday season, she delighted in wrapping small gifts for her coworkers’ children, a simple but meaningful expression of her thoughtful and giving spirit. She was a wonderful sister, always ready to step in and help wherever she was needed, offering her time and care without hesitation.
Susan will be remembered for her kindness, her generosity, and her quiet faith.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests Masses be offered for the repose of Susan’s soul.
