Vikki was the beloved wife of the late William P. Ganley; loving mother of William J. Ganley; dear sister of William (Sandy) Lloyd, the late Lawrence Lloyd and the late Patricia Jean Lloyd; dear aunt to Brandon (Natalie) Lloyd and Jacob (Kayla) Lloyd; dear great-aunt to Weston, Rivers, and Rosalie; and a friend to many in her lifetime.
Vikki was born at St. Mary's Hospital on July 20, 1953. She was raised in Webster Groves by her parents, Lawrence and Dorothy (Bognar) Lloyd, and graduated Webster Groves High School Class of 1971. She and Bill were married in June of 1974 and they welcomed their son, William "B.J." in 1985.
She spent many years working as a manager for McDonalds, and later for Ritter Greenhouse as a florist. She found fulfillment and made many wonderful friends at St. Agnes Home where she was part of the Activities Team, and later moved to the front desk, where she greeted and welcomed visitors.
Apart from her devotion to the scouting activities of her son and others, she loved her pet cats who are too numerous to name, and enjoyed watching the Doc Martin series and Harry Potter movies. Vikki liked playing video games in her free time, Animal Crossing being one of her favorites. During COVID and after she retired, she found enjoyment in watching travel logues and documentaries ranging anywhere from farming in foreign countries to sailing around the world on a sailboat. It was her way of seeing the world when travel wasn't possible.
Vikki was generous with her time and talent, devoted to Christ, loyal to her friends and family, and cherished by her son and husband. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, April 2 from 4-8pm at Hoffmeister Colonial Mortuary, 6464 Chippewa Street 63109. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, April 3 at 10am at St. Joan of Arc (St. Lucy Parish) Hampton and Pernod Avenues 63139. Rite of Committal to follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Vikki's memory to St. Joan of Arc Church would be greatly appreciated by her family.
Please leave a fond memory of Vikki for her family to cherish at the "Add a Memory" link below.
