William Michael Purdy Jr., age 61, passed away at his home in St. Peters, MO on December 29, 2022 after a bout with cancer. Son of William "Bill" (Mary Beth) Purdy and the late Annette (nee Bixler) Dismuke; loving father of April (Ryan Bockerstette) Purdy and Sandra (Ryan Robertson) Purdy; grandfather of Peyton Purdy, Michael Brokaw, and Emma Robertson; dear brother of Kimberly (Ron) Schilli and Robin Purdy; dear uncle of David (Melinda) Lashbrook, Elizabeth (Mynor Ramirez) Schilli, and Anthony (Kara) Schilli; great uncle of Wyatt, Annabelle, and Caleb Lashbrook.
Bill was born on July 4, 1961 and raised in St. Louis. He graduated from Visual and Performing Arts High School in St. Louis. Bill was a proud US Army Veteran having served at Ft. Sill, OK from 1981 -1984. He loved baseball, soccer, the St. Louis Blues Hockey, and fishing.
SERVICES: Visitation from 10am until time of service at 11am Friday, January 6, 2023 Hoffmeister Colonial Mortuary 6464 Chippewa. Interment with Military Honors to follow in Valhalla Cemetery, Pagedale, MO. Memorial contributions in Bill's memory are suggested to American Cancer Association or to the Missouri Humane Society.
