Passed peacefully on March 25th Long-time resident of the East Side, was known as the "walking lady." Claire was born on 10/10/22 to Fredrick and Mary (Dempsey) Cahill in Greenfield, MA. She was a former & retired sales associate of Dayton's in St. Paul, dedicated volunteer at Region's Hospital and active member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church. She loved to travel, played the trumpet in her earlier years and was a kind and gentle soul. Her bright blue Irish eyes were always present to whomever she met. Will be forever missed and prayed for by her devoted son, Robert (Jane) Kelly, grand-daughters, Brianna Kelly, Liza Lavaty and Megan (Adam) Tetz; five great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends. Preceded in death by her loving husband of 26 years, George E. Kelly, parents, brothers John (Marjorie), James (Bernice), Thomas (Dolores) and sister, Mary (Guerino). Special thank you to the 5th floor staff of Cerenity Senior Care Marian of St. Paul and Health-East Hospice Care for their exemplary care. Mass of Christian Burial 11AM Friday, 3/30/12 at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 2119 Stillwater Ave., East St. Paul. Visitation 4-8 PM Thursday, 3/29/12 at Wulff Funeral Home, 1485 White Bear Ave, St. Paul and 1 hour prior to Mass at church. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials preferred to Caring & Sharing Hands, Mpls, MN. or St. Joseph's Coat, St. Paul.
