Preceded in death by wife, Margareta; 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Loving uncle of nephew, Herbert M. (Joan) Ringheim; "Grandpa" to their children, Michael and Laurel (Eric) Rogers, and their son, Kellen; niece, Karen A. Ringheim; as well as many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He worked as a postal carrier for 28 years and served during World War II as a staff sergeant in the Pacific Theatre. Special thank you to the staffs at Ecumen Lakeview Commons, Healthpartners Geriatrics and Hospice Care. Funeral Service 11am on Thursday at Arlington Hills Lutheran Church, 1115 Greenbriar Street, St. Paul, with visitation one hour prior. Interment Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials preferred to the church.
