Colleen Rose Nelson

She was born on June 18, 1955, in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Colleen was a proud graduate of the University of Minnesota, where she earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering. She was known for her intelligence, warmth, determination, strong faith and deep love for her family and dogs.

She is survived by her beloved husband, David Nelson; her children, Michael Nelson (Anne Hennes), Megan Nelson (John Manross), and Mark Nelson; her brother, Kevin Kelly (Marlyce); her brother-in-law Bruce Nelson (Deb); and her sister-in-law, Nancy Peterson (Brian). She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and countless friends. She will be remembered for her kindness, sense of humor, strength, and the love she shared with those closest to her.

Colleen was preceded in death by her parents, George and Regina Kelly.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 29, at Wulff Funeral Home, 1485 White Bear Avenue, St. Paul, MN 55106. Visitation will be held from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m., with the service beginning at 1:00 p.m.
