Don was born February 12, 1941 in Pelican Rapids, MN. He was the eldest of 8 children. He enlisted in the Navy in 1960 and served through 1964. Following his service he stayed in the Twin Cities and was employed by the City of North St. Paul as an electric lineman.
Don married Patricia Radunz in 1966 and celebrated 51 years of marriage. They were blessed with three children and raised them in North St. Paul.
Don retired from the City of North St. Paul and worked for several years for Metro Mobility. He retired and they relocated to Casa Grande, AZ where he enjoyed the warm winters.
Don enjoyed his many years hunting and fishing. He enjoyed traveling which took him to Alaska, Panama Canal, Hawaii, New England leaf peepers, and the National Parks west of Mississippi River. He especially enjoyed the trip to Annapolis when his granddaughter graduated from the Naval Academy.
Don is survived by his Wife, Pat; three Children, Darren (Henrietta) of Gallup, NM, Stephanie (Scott) Ellingboe of Maplewood, MN, and Jeanelle of Minneapolis, MN; six Granddaughters; one Great-Grandson; three Brothers; and three Sisters.
He was preceded in death by his Parents; one Sister; and two Brothers-In-Law.
