Doretta was born April 27, 1920 in Cologne, Mn. She was one of four children. Doretta married John Reitmeier on Thanksgiving Day Nov. 26, 1942. She dedicated her life to her husband and 9 children. Preceded in death by husband, John; son, Kenneth; parents; sisters, Leona Joyce and Mary Welters; and brother, John Welters. Survived by 8 loving children, Robert, Roger (Cheryl), Joseph (Joni), David (Cindy), Charles (Chris), Peggy, Kathy Peters (Pat) and Jeffrey; 15 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren. She will be profoundly missed and fondly remembered. In celebration of her life a visitation will be held TODAY from 4-8 pm at Wulff Godbout Funeral Home, 560 W. 7th St., St. Paul, and 1hr. prior at church. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 am Thurs., Jan. 12 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, 398 Superior St., St. Paul. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
