Gigi was born to Jerry and Harriett Axelrod on May 26th, 1954 where she grew up in St. Paul, MN. She attended Highland High School and graduated in 1972. She then pursued a career as a beautician. She was married to the love of her life, Bill, for 38 years to which she had 3 children and 5 grandchildren. Along with an amazing brother and sister-in-law, nieces, nephews and countless number of friends.
In her spare time Gigi enjoyed vacationing, spending time at her brother Jeff's cabin and countless crafts. She was very passionate about taking care of two special women; Jill and Andy. Gigi was counted on by many to be a supportive ear for those who sat in her beauty chair. A minute with Gigi would put a smile on your face, make an occasion more special and make your heart more complete. She opened her heart and home to many and was loved by all.
Preceded in death by her parents, Jerome & Harriet; brother, Steve; and mother-in-law, Rosemary.
Survived by her husband, Bill; children, Jamison (Jessica), Kristal (Nick) Martin, Tammie (Matt) Bearth; grandchildren, Kurtis, Kailer, Logan, Jaxson, Easton; brother, Jeff (Sari) Axelrod; and many nieces, nephews & friends.
Funeral services for GiGi will be held at 12pm on Friday, January 4th, 2019 at Wulff Funeral Home (1485 White Bear Ave., St. Paul). Visitation from 4-7pm on Thursday, January 3rd and one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Burial at Union Cemetery.
