Passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2011 at The Pillars Hospice Home. He was born the son of Donald and Catherine (Keller) Campbell on July 15, 1959 in St. Paul. Greg proudly served in the U.S. Army. For many years he worked as the Food Service Supervisor at the Minnesota Veteran’s Home.
Greg was preceded in death by his parents, Donald & Catherine and his sister, Carolyn Gann. He is survived by his dear friend, Rusty Rose; children, Alexandra & Sean of Winona, Connor & Jordan, and their mother, Pamela of Burnsville; siblings: Thomas Campbell of Maplewood, Robert Campbell of Missouri, Julie Campbell of Ohio, Dennis Campbell of Maplewood, Catherine Fyre of Ely, Mike Campbell of Oakdale, Kevin Campbell of Oakdale, and David Campbell of Missouri.
Greg’s funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, December 19th at the Minnesota Veteran’s Home Chapel, 5101 Minnehaha Ave South, Minneapolis. Visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment with full military honors will follow at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
