He was preceded in death by his wife Marion, an infant daughter, 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Surviving are his 9 children: Ron Hessler (Vicki), Debra Larson (Michael), Peggy Holmquist (Steve), Kim Dickinson (Larry), Janet Martin (Jack), Colleen Cannon, Lori Erickson (Terry), Lisa Host (Rick), and Heidi Sicard (Michael). 25 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren and 4 sisters: Bonnie Kratzke, Margaret Rotter, Lorraine Gruber, and Marlene Mullen.
Funeral services will be held 11 AM Friday, November 17, 2017 at North Heights Lutheran Church 2701 Rice Street Roseville, MN. Visitation will be 4-8 PM Thursday at Wulff Funeral Home 1485 White Bear Ave, St. Paul, MN and again one hour prior to services at the church.
A private family Interment will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery
