Joan A. Misgen

Died peacefully on February 11, 2016. Joan will be remembered as a Loving Wife, Caring Mother, Loyal Mother-in-Law, and a Playful Grandma. She impacted all she came in contact with and will be remembered for her quick wit and sense of humor. Joan touched many people volunteering her time at Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church in Maplewood. The most important thing to Joan was her family. Whether it be playing cards with her brothers and sisters, beating her kids at cribbage, going on bike trips with Don and family, joking with daughters-in-law, or talking about her grandkids: family is where Joan was at her best. She is survived by her Husband of 51 years, Don; Sons, Steve (Marybeth), Mike (Tricia), Jim (Erin) and Mark (Jennifer); Eight Grandkids, Sara, Nick, Ben, Jenna, Jack, Grace, Abby and Greta. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 AM Thursday February 18, 2016 at the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 1725 Kennard at Larpenteur, Maplewood. Visitation 4:00-7:00 PM Wednesday February 17, 2016 at Wulff Funeral Home, 1485 White Bear Avenue, St. Paul and 1 hour prior to Mass at church. Private family interment at Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.
