Joseph Thomas Bloom

Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Barb and step-dad Mylo Nelson.

He is survived by his sister Karen, his brother Steve, step-mom Mary, his beloved niece Anna Sjolsvold, an aunt, uncles, numerous counsins, step-brothers Dave, Dan, Jerry.

Joe graduated from Rosemount High School and did a short stint in the army before returning home to live in Apple Valley with his mom and step-dad Mylo until finding his own apartment in Saint Paul.

He earned a degree in Graphic Arts from Globe University. Joe was employed as a commercial painter until suffering a fall at which point he was forced to take disability.

Joe had a big heart and would do anything in his power to help anyone in need. For over the last year of his life, he took care of Karen's dog Luca, after she had back surgery

and seemed to love every minute of it and Luca loved his Uncle Joe as much as Joe loved him.

Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on August 27, 2023 at Indian Mounds Park, Mounds Boulevard and Earl Street, Saint Paul, MN at 2:00PM.
