Judy brightened the halls, and my time, at Dorsey. She always had a great big smile on her face. She loved her family dearly, was so very proud of them, and loved life. It showed. I will miss her being here on this earth, but I carry her in my heart, always.

When I lived in Minnesota I enjoyed Judy as a square dance roommate, and for enjoyable conversations.

Tom and family, I am so sorry to learn of your mom's passing. She always had a smile and a hug whenever I would run into her. I  always enjoyed talking with her. I last saw her, a couple summers ago walking in the White Bear Ave parade with the Blue Star Mom's.

I squared danced with Judi for many years within the Single Square Dancers of the USA organization.  We worked together on the national board running the organization.

What a delight she was to me!  I will miss her so!

Judi will be missed by everyone she has known through the the years. She left her footprints in everyone heart at she passed through. She was a Great Square Dancer and friends to everyone in the activity and will be missed.

My condolences to Auntie Pearl, cousins Gail, Sandy, Carol and Pearl and the children and grandchildren of Judi. I am sorry to learn of her passing.  I have pleasant memories of Judi over the years, especially at our grandparent's house. All the nice comments are evidence that she touched the lives of many people. My wife Judy and I will keep Judi and her family in our prayers at this difficult time.

Judi was the happiest lady and and had an energy that just bubbled out of her.  I always loved it when she came to my floor (Finance) because she always brought a ray of sunshine with her and did wherever she went.  She was so fun to talk to about her dancing and all the trips she had gone on and future trips she was looking forward to.
























    





lunches we had together I loved hearing about her work for Blue Star and how proud she was to represent such fine group.  When you ask her about her dancing, her eyes lit up telling you all the places shes been.

So sorry to hear of Judy's death. I can remember all of the times she would stop at my house on the corner of Earl and McLean and we would walk to school together.
 Pearl my condolences to you also. All of the years I worked at Jacks store I always enjoyed visiting with you.

Judi will be greatly missed.  Her positive outlook on life was contagious.  I worked with Judi at Dorsey.  She always volunteered to help pack up care packages we sent to the troops.  My thoughts and prayers are with her many friends and family at this time.

To Judi's family, I's so sorry for your loss.  I worked with Judi at Dorsey for many years and it was always a pleasure.  She was the best co-worker one could ask for. She was always willing to help out and she had the most positive attitude and was a joy to be around.  Her family meant so much to her as did her beloved Blue Star Moms.  We all enjoyed hearing about the fine work they did to support our troops.  We were always interested in hearing about Tom's service and what was happening in his world.  She was a very proud mother.  Blessings to all of you.

Dear sister and friend,
    I first met you at the funeral of your daughter-in-law Jodie. (Corwin's wife).  I played "taps" there, at her grave.  Corwin, and each of your children were a miracle as you told me. I felt your pride and love for all your children and family.  
My wife Connie and I saw you last at Church last year.
 I spoke to you then when you visited us for a special musical number at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
    You were very happy that day!
  We chatted as I walked with you to the parking lot. It was fun talking to you!
  I recall we continued to visit at the window of your van, you rolled down the window so we could talk. As you waited for passengers, we spoke about God, your love of family, and bright days ahead. 
 While we spoke, a gentle summer rain began to fall upon my shoulders. 
 But I didn't mind...
   ...I didn't want our visit to end.
  
  And just like that soft summer rain...
...I am sure there are as many drops of tears falling gently ~ from the eyes of your many loved ones today.  
  
   Till we meet again, home at last, in the Kingdom of our Father in Heaven.

To Judi's family  I'm sorry for your loss.  I loved hearing about Judi's square dancing.  We worked many late nights together at Dorsey and enjoyed season tickets at the Orpheum and State theatres listening to numerous musicals over the year's.   Great gal full of energy and big smiles!

Judi, I'll never forget your happy countenance even in fear when your son went to war and other situations that would put most of us on our knees in despair.  You were the happy place where we'd hear about your family, your doll collection and enjoy your tales of square dancing and other amazing activities.  As Diane so aptly stated, you were the lifesaver at Dorsey when others had to go home to little ones; you endeared yourself to everyone.  You blest us all with your sense of humor and dignity.  Rest in peace....you knew me as Jan Stennes.

Judi saved the day for me on many occasions at Dorsey when I needed assistance after 5:00 p.m. or on weekends.  She was an absolute joy to work with and be around. My deepest sympathies to those who loved her.  I am so sad that she is gone.

I will truly miss Judi, her wonderful laugh and smile, and visits at Dorsey with her companion, Miss Piper.  She was always a strength to others and enjoyed life at its fullest.  Rest in peace my friend and God Bless.
