Passed away peacefully on Monday, December 5, 2016 surrounded by family and friends after a courageous battle with esophageal cancer.
Kevin was one of a kind. Harriet and Bub Pomeroy raised Kevin on the East Side of St. Paul. He attended Johnson High School competing on the swim and tennis teams. Kevin served two tours in the Marine Corps during the Vietnam War as a radio specialist attached to the Korean Marines. He was discharged with the rank of corporal. Kevin began working as a junior accountant at Northland Insurance Company, playing on the company softball team and coaching the girl’s softball team. He established his lifelong career at Analysts International Corporation in Edina, starting as a junior accountant and rising to the title of Directory of Treasury Operation. He made lifelong friends at every stage of his life whether a soldier, employee, teammate, fisherman, or patient. Kevin loved life, his family, his friends and his dogs. He was an adventure seeker, trying his hand at skydiving, parasailing, scuba diving, and jet skiing. Kevin is survived by his loving daughter Cody Rose, former wife Cindy, nephew Ron, niece Angi and her daughter Holly, cousin Marvajane and her husband Keith, sisters Randee and Vicki and many faithful friends.
