Born in St. Paul on September 3, 1910. Passed away peacefully with family by her side on September 19, 2010. Preceded in death by husband of 49 years, Joseph Koenig; parents, William and Barbara (Meyer) Stangl; sister, Catherine; and brother, William. Survived by sister, Lucille Ratliff; children, Richard (Joyce) Koenig, Barbara (Dean) Svendsen, John (Rosemary) Koenig, Joseph (Diana) Koenig, Gerald (Diane) Koenig; 33 grandchildren; 75 great-grandchildren; 15 great great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Special Thanks and memorials preferred to Hospice of the Twin Cities and Homestead of Maplewood. Mass of Christian Burial 11am Thursday, September 23 at Wulff Funeral Home, 1485 White Bear Ave. St. Paul, with visitation one hour prior. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery.
