She is preceded in death by her husband Ronald Schanz; parents, Francis and Fides Berchem; siblings, Francis, Helen, Joan, Faith, Alfred, Charles, Clare and Mary Jo.
Survived by her children, Bill, Anne (Neal) Krech, Christine (Paul) St. Martin, Michael (Michelle Liberty) and Lisa (Vaughan) Schaub; grandchildren Angela, Stephen (Kayleigh), Jacob, Sasha, Megan, Kyle, Mikala (Kyle), Andrew and Catie; also 7 great grandchildren; sister-in-law Beverly Berchem, brother-in-law Del Radeztsky and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 AM Thursday, March 19, 2026 with visitation 1 hour prior at Blessed Sacrament Church 2119 Stillwater Ave. E. St. Paul, Minnesota. Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery at a later date.
