Peggy was reunited in heaven with her beloved husband, Jim, and her parents, Florence and Everette; her sister, Pat; and her brothers, Jim and Joe. She leaves behind a lifetime of love, devotion, and cherished memories.
She is survived by her devoted children, Desiree, Brett, and Jason (Wendy), as well as her adored grandchildren: Michaela (Drew), Chloe, Caitlyn (Mikhayla), Seth, and Kya. She is also survived by her sisters, Ramona (Dick) and Sherry, her brother, Jeff (Denise), and in-laws Katie and Pudge, along with many nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss her dearly.
Peggy was born in Black River Falls, Wisconsin, on November 27, 1944. Her earliest years were spent in Humbird, WI, before moving to the east side of St. Paul, Minnesota. She attended Johnson High School and later built a life filled with family, laughter, and kindness. She spent most of her working years at Eastern Heights State Bank, forming lasting friendships. One of Peggy’s favorite pastimes was trips to the casino with her husband, Jim, sister Pat, and brother-in-law Pudge. She also enjoyed playing Scrabble with her mother and sister Sherry. However, her greatest joy was her family. She was a constant presence in her grandchildren’s lives, attending their school and sporting events with pride and unwavering support.
Peggy’s love, warmth, and humor touched countless lives. She was the heart of her family and a treasured friend to many. While she may no longer be physically present, her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved her.
A celebration of Peggy’s life will be held on April 18, 2025, at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 1390 Larpenteur Ave E, St. Paul. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. A private interment will take place afterward.
