Stan was blessed with the company of many good friends and family. He enjoyed boating and the boating community, and loved cars, motorcycles, and a good breakfast - at any hour of the day. It was not unusual for his love of the open road and never-ending quest for "the perfect breakfast" to lead him hundreds of miles to the nearest Waffle House.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley D. Rydel, Sr. and Ruby H. Rydel (Hackl); and sister Carole L. Rydel.
Stan is survived by his son Stanley K. (Jolene) Rydel; sister Vicki L. Olson; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
A gathering of family and friends for Stanley will be held Monday, April 17, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Wulff Funeral Home, 1485 White Bear Avenue, St. Paul, Minnesota 55106. Private inurnment at Riverview Cemetery, St. Paul, Minnesota.
