Died April 28, 2012 from complications of prostate cancer, that he had been battling for 8 yrs. Preceded in death by parents, Lila & Charles, and brothers, Bill, Roy & Jerry. Survived by Cory, his loving wife of 40 yrs; children, Terri (Brian) Morse,

Tim (Shelly) Tesser & Shannon Tesser; wonderful grandchildren, Audrey, Savannah, Colton & Brook; brothers, Bob & Ralph; extended family & best friend Leggs. Tom graduated from Duluth Denfeld High School, UMD & St. Thomas. He taught in St. Paul schools for 37 yrs, 25 at Randolph Heights. Tom was an avid golfer. He was an athlete in high school & college. He coached many youth sports teams. He proudly served in the Navy during the Vietnam War aboard the USS Forrestal. The family wishes to thank doctors: Dashiell, Dalaume, Gaertner, Gryson & Kason and the wonderful nurses at St. John’s Hospital ICU & P2 for their excellent care. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the family or Health East Foundation. A funeral service will be held for Tom at 12 NOON on WED, MAY 2 at the Ft. Snelling Historic Chapel, where Hwys 55 & 62 meet. Interment with military honors will follow in the Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. Visitation will be TONIGHT, May 1, 5 – 8 PM at Wulff Funeral Home, 1485 White Bear Ave, St. Paul.
