Alfred "Bud" Mason Alexander

A.M. “Bud” Alexander, 92, passed away at his home on Friday, November 10, 2023. He was born on January 5, 1931, in Brockton, MA. Bud attended The Georgia Institute of Technology and earned a degree in Industrial Engineering in 1952. He then served in the United States Air Force from 1952-1956. After an honorable discharge, Bud accepted a management position with H. H.Robertson Company, remaining with the company for 40 years until his retirement. Bud moved to Tampa in 1958 where he remained for the rest of his life. He was an active and dedicated member of the Catholic Church and was also involved with many charitable organizations in leadership roles.

Bud is survived by his wife Cleta Alexander; his children Michael Alexander, Bill Alexander (Lisa), and Matt Alexander (Denise); his grandchildren Travis Alexander, Matthew Alexander (Abby), Shannon Alexander, Patrick Alexander, Drew Alexander (Emily), Caroline Alexander, Cameron Alexander (Kierstin), Grace Alexander and Trent Alexander; and his great-grandchildren Lane Alexander, Mason Alexander and Jack Alexander. Bud is also survived by his stepdaughter, Jodi McMaster (Gary); his step-grandchildren David and Elyce Lahay (Nathan); and his step-great-grandchildren Zoey Lahay and Ollie Lahay. Bud is preceded in death by his first wife Betty Alexander; his daughter-in-law Margaret Alexander; his siblings Jackie Alexander and Ernie Alexander; and his parents Eva Alexander and Fred Alexander.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at 10:00 am at Christ the King Catholic Church. Please feel free to join the family for visitation an hour prior to the service at the church, as well as at the reception immediately following at Palma Ceia Golf and Country Club.
