GARCIA, Anastasia Kavouklis, 53, went home to the Lord on Sunday, January 17, 2016, surrounded by her beloved family. She was the cherished daughter of Michael N. and Irene Kavouklis and is survived by her devoted husband, Mark A. Anastasia attended St John Greek Orthodox Day School, the Academy of the Holy Names and graduated from University of South Florida in 1985. Upon graduation, she taught pre-school children at Lake Magdalene Elementary School and Palma Ceia Presbyterian School before dedicating her life to raising her beautiful family and providing unconditional love, compassion, smiles and support to all those who were fortunate to call her wife, daughter, mother, sister, Theía and friend. There are no ample words to describe the impact and influence Anastasia had on so many during her short time on this earth. She walked hand in hand with Jesus – daily – and she left an immeasurable footprint in so many hearts. Her resolve, strength and grace in the face of adversity and steadfast devotion to her faith and family will forever be an inspiration to all who loved and cherished her. A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 21 from 6:00pm – 8:00pm at Blount & Curry Funeral Home, 605 S MacDill Ave, with a Trisagion Service at 7:00pm. Fr.
