He was married to Judith Ann Taiclet on June 8, 1979. Chester had a career in the United States Air Force for 20 years in wideband communications microwave relay which took him around the world. He made it to 49 out of 50 states and many countries throughout his life. He retired as an E6 and then had a career in alarm systems for 12 years.
After his final retirement, he spent much of his time doing the things he loved. He built himself a shed and filled it with wood, tools and anything that could maybe be used one day. He put lots of pride in his multitude of projects. When not building shelves, tiling the house, or landscaping the yard; you could find him at Disney.
He is lovingly survived by his children: Kenneth Taiclet (Missy), Melissa Taiclet-Jett (Michelle), and Gary Taiclet (Tricia) and 9 grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Chester was preceded in death by his brother Warner and two sisters, Joyce and Doloris.
