David K Beery

64, of Tampa, passed away on Wednesday, Sept 28th in Tampa. He was born in Athens, OH and moved to Tampa in 1975. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in downtown Tampa and served as Chairman of the Board of Directors. David Graduated from Ohio University in Athens and dedicated his life as General Manager of Transdor, an Architectural and Commercial Door & Hardware company. He was active in renovating several homes in Historic Seminole Heights. He enjoyed taking his Lincoln on Auto Train to Ohio to visit his parents. He had a strong passion for 1966 Thunderbirds. He was preceded in death by his parents Hazel and Ken Beery. He is survived by his partner of 39 years, Glen Yeater; aunt, Audrey Arnold; aunt, Barbara Collins; cousin, Ivan Arnold; cousin, Larry Arnold; cousin, Karen Zakrzewski. A visitation will be held at Blount & Curry Funeral Home, 605 S. MacDill Ave on Thursday, October 6th from 5-8pm.
